Golf is a sociable game and all members are expected to stay behind after the game to bore incessantly about the round of golf they've just witnessed with their playing partners. Its not about your own game or your own stories, it is quite simply about your playing partners. THey dont want to hear you talk about your game, rather its their own observations on your game that are quite simply the only important contribution.
