Over 120 members of the Edinburgh Golf Club, a non course owning club, attended the winter meeting held recently at Prestonfield Golf Club, the city centre club.
A traditional James Braid parkland course that was rejuvenated in the 1990's to the course we now all play.
Our Spring Meeting sees the cherry blossom line the top end of the course, while the Summer Meeting is often played out over a hard and fast course. Traditional Scottish greens that require good ball control or touch to ensure close proximity to the tight pin placements offer birdies.
